As many as 6 million dogs are abandoned each year by owners and their families.
The problem has been exacerbated by a lack of infrastructure, a lack on shelter space, and the inability to properly train and house them.
The new breed of dog-rescue dogs, called kenneled breeds, are supposed to be the next generation of the breed.
