The owners of a large Kennel Club dog have taken to social media to celebrate their newest member, who they claim is the “littlest of the litter”.
The dogs, named Roxy, is the first of two dogs they bought from the club in the last two weeks, after the other dog had been killed in a car accident.
Roxy was bought from a kennels in Adelaide, with the pair sharing a home in the city.
“It’s just so lovely to have her back.
I love seeing her with me,” the owner, Lacey Smith, told the ABC.”
I have to go home to her, because she’s been sick all day, so it’s just wonderful.””
She’s so adorable.
She’s really friendly.
She’ll jump up and down, and she’s super social.”
In a statement on their website, Kennel Clubs SA president Steve Roussos said they were “so proud” of the dogs.
“They’re a real joy to have and it’s a real honour for the KennelClub SA and our staff and members to have the love and affection of our customers for their dogs,” he said.
“We are proud of the hard work our team put into finding a home for Roxy and we are so grateful to have them.”
